QuickBooks is effective and powerful software. However, there are many implementation decisions to be made at the outset. What chart of accounts do you need for your business? How do you handle beginning balances? Although QuickBooks is designed for small businesses, the initial setup and installation must be done correctly in order for the information to be useful and accurate.

QuickBooks Set-Up & One-to-One Training Services

Here’s a list of some of the services we may provide during your initial and on-going QuickBooks bookkeeping system implementation.

• Determine your accounting and software needs.
• Recommend and install software.
• Determine cut-over date to use new software or software version.
• Design, set up and customize chart of accounts to align with tax, reporting and year-end needs.
• Tailor any required modules including payroll, inventory, accounts receivable/payable, etc.
• Initialize chart of accounts and balances as of start date.
• Prepare a list of items that you sell which may include services, inventory parts, sales taxes, etc.
• Set-up your outstanding accounts receivable and accounts payable details as of your start date.
• Set-up your ending statement bank balances and outstanding checks & deposits as of your start date.
• Print a trial balance as of your starting date and compare it to your trial balance from your old system.
• Enter your transactions since your starting dates into QuickBooks.
• A one-on-one training plan is established to address individual needs.
• Train you or your staff in use of software to meet their accounting, management and tax needs.
• Be available to support you, as needed, starting at four (4) hours per month.
